Things are wrapping up here at the New Organizing Institute’s Blogger Training and Summit. Most of the people are heading out of town today to return to various parts of the country, but I’ll be sticking around for a few extra days to walk around the Take Back America conference. It’s been a great opportunity to network and learn some new ways about moving change with our words.
Earlier today we heard from Darcy Burner, Congressional Candidate for Washington’s 8th District. She alerted us to a roll-out this week of a comprehensive plan for bringing the Iraq War to an end that is going to be pushed (initially) by a group of ten Democratic candidates. The plan will be available after Monday, March 17, 2008 at www.ResponsiblePlan.com
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Lola, Judith, Nirmal and the rest of the NOI team who have been great hosts for the weekend. Looking forward to continuing the conversations started here and bringing more voices to it.
